Companions Plants for Succulents

Wednesday, April 26th, 10:00 - 11:30am.

Speaker: This workshop will be led by Mike Hirsch, who has extensive overall plant knowledge, and over 50 years of experience in landscape design and installation. Mike has owned several nurseries in Southern California and has received awards from his garden installations at the San Diego Home/Garden Shows. The workshop will be held on the grounds of his succulent-oriented nursery, Gardens by the Sea, in Leucadia.

Description: You’ve got gorgeous succulents in your garden, and now you want to know what other plants with similar cultural requirements would make good companions for them.  The plants discussed will vary from ground covers to shrubs to trees, and will include those with complimentary textures, colors, and beautiful flowers.

Parking is limited so carpooling is recommended.   Plants and other items in the nursery will be available for a 15% discount for one hour after the workshop.

To be held rain or shine.

Bring the following:

  • Drinking Water
  • Closed-toe shoes are REQUIRED
