Topic: How to Grow Camellias

Description:

Dean Turney, President of the San Diego Camellia Society, will demonstrate how to care for camellias, and discuss different types and varieties. He will cover how to fertilize, prune, and graft camellias, all in his Encinitas garden, home to more than 100 camellias.

Biography:

Dean Turney has pursued his love of camellias for over 30 years. He is currently the President of the San Diego Camellia society. 

Workshop to be held rain or shine. 

Please bring the following:

  • Drinking Water
  • Closed-toe shoes are REQUIRED
