Water Features, The Natural Way

Instructor: Tom Jesch

Bring your mask and snorkel!  (Just kidding)  But the water in our ponds at Waterwise Botanicals is so clear that you could… it would be like diving in the show tank at Sea World!  Because of this, you can take underwater pictures from above, looking down on giant catfish making lazy turns past schools of bluegill and tropical fish.  Watch a wary turtle slide off of the turtle log, or search for the periscope eyes of one of our resident bullfrogs.  Did I say polywogs?  Wow!  The amazing thing is: NO PUMPS, NO FILTERS, NO AERATION!

Waterwise Botanicals developed a revolutionary system of a couple of underwater grasses that biologically purify the water, while loading it with high levels of dissolved oxygen, for an abundance of aquatic life.  Crystal clear water, and little maintenance for years of enjoyment!  See how a refreshing oasis fits into your waterwise landscape.  Enjoy the wildlife it attracts, and the calming effect it adds to your outdoor living.  Learn how you can create this for yourself (or let the design and project team at Waterwise Botanicals create this for you!).

Instructor’s Info:

Presented by Waterwise Botanicals' own Tom Jesch.  Tom and his wife Jackie are the founders of this amazing place.  If you don’t know Tom, then be prepared to be greeted by a real character, born and bred in the outdoors.  There’s humor, great stories, exaggerations (in the grand tradition of Mark Twain) and a lot to learn.  Get it from the “Pinecone Dundee” of the mountains of northern Nevada.

Registration will close three days before the event.

To be held Rain or Shine
