August Featured Garden

August Featured Garden This month's Featured Garden is the creation of the homeowner and landscape consultant Dave Ericson.  Dave also helped maintain our garden display at the 2013 Fair.

Homeowners Howard Appel and Loreen Collins, with the help of landscape consultant Dave Ericson, over the last year and one half transformed the outdoor area of their home into an oasis filled with rare plants and exotic sculptures.  As an added bonus, the garden is fairly low-maintenance and sustainable, even through the winter (Ask Dave about the ingenuous rain retention system.). 
The garden showcases a vast array of colorful and exotic plants in a Hawaiian-style landscape including a koi pond and swimming pool. This is outdoor living at its finest.
